Your first? really? Well, great job! I'm looking forward to reading about Rose and Ginny. They'll be in the same year won't they? hm, I've never read a story where Lily and James lives to raise Harry. And a sibling! that's great! *grin* With the marauders raising him and he knowing the Weasleys from toddledom up, it's bound to be good! Nice writing. ;)

Interesting how you’ve changed Arthur’s job and eliminated how poor the Weasley’s are. That’s an interesting twist. I imagine though, with James, Sirius and the Longbottom’s still around, a slightly different (and more prestigious) career path for Arthur would make sense. If nothing else, that would be 3 more prominent, pure-blood families with tolerance / fondness toward Muggles.
Oh, man. A new generation of Marauders with the twins, Ron and Harry! I don’t know if the school could survive, LOL!

Great detail! Yes, Neville’s character would be quite different if his parent’s hadn’t been tortured into insanity and he hadn’t been raised by his overbearing grandmother, wouldn’t it? And, with Harry being immersed in the wizarding world his whole life (with constant exposure to James, Sirius and Lupin), it totally makes sense he would do well in his classes.

As a reward for your review, I will tell you that the first year isnt't too different from the books, but it starts to change in the trio's second year and third year will be quite different.

Pretty darn impressive for a first fan fic! I'm interested to see where you will go with this. I'm especially intrigued (as an author) by what you will ultimately do with the Rose character. From a strictly "couples" point of view, one wonders who she ends up with, or if she is fated to die horribly somehow. Happy, well-adjusted Harry is also a character that should be interesting to see. :) Looking forward to the rest!!

This is such a great start! While I've read other "Harry's parents live" fics, I haven't read any which start quite like this, nor which have Harry getting an early start with the Weasley's, like I suspect you're headed in this fic.
Great job! I am really looking forward to seeing where you take this story!
